Transport infrastructure:
The transport component should comprise an integrated transport network, and
related features, that are seamless within each national border.
Transportation data includes topographic features related to transport by road,
rail, water, and air. It is important that the features form networks where
appropriate, and that links between different networks are established.
At European level of prime importance to have access to an updated version of
the road network in 1: 1 mill or 1: 250.000, one version per year. Additional
information on transport network segments on kind of traffic, frequency, speed
etc.
At national level the same data should be available, and in addition names and
numbering - addresses. Accuracy should be 1 meter or better.
